“Make in India” has been a landmark project by the Government of India which has struck a chord with the international business community.This flagship idea/project was launched with much fanfare by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 25 September 2014. The project was multi-dimensional and aimed at enhancing and improving industrial capabilities in India.It calls upon international business houses to invest as well as manufacture in India so that it is mutually beneficial for both parties. India, being the most populous country in the world, has no shortage of human resources, hence less/cheaper labor becomes available to all these companies, which ultimately reduces the cost of production.The youth of India are being imparted knowledge of skill development to provide quality talent to all the companies investing in India. The Government of India has dedicated helplines and provides all possible assistance to international businessmen who want to invest in India or manufacture in India.The individual foreign investment limit in the defense sector has been increased to 49% while for Railways it has been increased to 100%.As a result of these rules, India achieved the first position in 2015 by attracting the most FDI, surpassing the United States of America and the People's Republic of China.

In view of these initiatives, a large number of countries have shown interest in setting up special support groups that provide all the necessary and necessary information and assistance to streamline this process.Recently, Japan has started the Bullet Train project under the aegis of this product. Some companies like Boeing, Micromax, Oppo, Xiaomi etc.India is gradually developing its manufacturing capacity to boost production. This step has been taken so that the growing business which has decreased can be compensated. This plan of the Government of India is to make India the manufacturing center of the world in the future.
